Expectation #1
You need to be able to catch and throw with BOTH your right and left hand.
This not only means stationary, but also on the run.
Expectation #2
Players need to play with the lacrosse stick vertical, and not horizontal.
A lot of players cradle the ball with the stick horizontally by their hip.
Get the stick up.
Expectation #3
Know the importance of ball movement. The ball moves quicker than you. If
we move the ball quickly... we can take advantage of unsettled situations
and score more points.
Expectation #4
Know the importance of moving off the ball. Even if you don't have the ball,
you should be moving, setting pics, cutting and just flat causing the defense
to think. Knowone watches.
Expectation #5
Players need to have the ability to communicate. Players need to talk, listen
and
see the field in high school lacrosse.
