Expectation #6
You need to start thinking defensively. Start to work on Positioning, Footwork
and Holds, instead of waisting energy throwing useless checks. Make your checks
count.
Expectation #7
Know how to play Off-Ball Defense. Play the Flat-Triangle, know where your
slide will be and protect the middle. Protect the middle... and you stop goals.
Expectation #8
Understand and know the basic concepts and sets the coaches use for the offensive
end of the field. Also, know and understand Freelance Lacrosse. We're not
robots and it is o.k. to do different things to make a system work.
Expectation #9
Be able to work on your own. Do what it takes to get the proper skills sets
to become a better player. Work on your stick skills EVERY DAY in order to
be a starter.
Expectation #10
Be WELL-ROUNDED. Lacrosse is not everything. Work hard in the classroom
as well as have a great ATTITUDE. Your attitude will dictate your play.
